Why Does Your Salon Need A Refund Policy?
In short, clear refund policies make it much easier to deal with salon client complaints, make expectations clear before clients even arrive for their booked services (you can include the refund and salon cancellation policy wording in your online booking form), and protect your staff and other clients from unfair expectations or customer demands.
Think of each hair salon policy as a roadmap that shows salon owners, staff and clients where they’re headed and what to expect.

Simple Hair Salon No Refund Policy
“We here at Salon’s Name pledge to do our best and provide you with exceptional service, every time.
We do not provide on Salon services. If you have any questions or concerns about the service you have received today, please contact us within two days of your appointment.
We will make every effort to adjust your hair as needed, but require you to return within two days time to do so. We appreciate your understanding.”
Salon Product Refund Policy
“For health and safety reasons, our products can only be returned for a full refund if they’re unopened and unused, within 7 days with a receipt.
If the product is opened or used, a 25% restocking fee will be charged, and you will be given store credit for the remaining amount.
We understand that getting the right products for your hair care is important, and we will do our best to help you find one that works for you.”
Hair Service Refund Policy
“At Salon’s Name, providing you with an exceptional experience and the best possible service at every single appointment is our top priority.
All of our hair services are non refundable, but if you are not 100% satisfied with anything, please let us know right away. We’ll do our best to make any adjustments while you’re here, ensuring that you leave with a look that you love.”
Salon Cancellation Policy
“Your scheduled appointment is important to us. We want to make sure our clients receive the best service possible during each of their appointments.
To help make sure we can do this, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment time if you need to cancel your appointment or rebook any service scheduled.
Appointments canceled without at least 24 hours’ notice will result in being charged full price for your service.
No shows will also be charged the full amount and may be required to make a deposit when booking a future appointment.
We understand that sometimes unexpected delays happen. In emergencies, we do allow a 15-minute window for you to arrive without incurring cancellation fees. If this happens, we respectfully request that you contact us via phone or text messages as soon as possible.
A client with repeated late arrivals will be asked to pay 50% of the booking fee and be required to schedule a new appointment at another time.
Multiple missed appointments will result in a client being required to pay for the entire service in advance via credit card to guarantee the booking.

Salon Gift Card Refund Policy
“All of our Salon’s Name gift cards are non-refundable. If you’ve received a gift card for a specific service but do not wish to use it, we will be happy to exchange it for another service of similar or lesser price. Please don’t hesitate to ask about your options.”
