  • Oversee day-to-day salon activities and operations using salon management software
  • Create a welcoming, learning and nurturing environment for salon staff and customers to promote sales and services success
  • Identify areas of improvement within the salon and provide possible solutions
  • Drive revenue, manage expense to deliver revenue and profit margins
  • Drive profitability in all aspects of salon operations while remaining consistent with the salon brand
  • Assure that commercial targets are set, communicated to staff, and achieved
  • Keep updated records of costs and revenues (e.g. daily, monthly and quarterly)
  • Create an annual marketing plan
  • Arrange advertising and promotional activities to increase the number of clients in the salon
  • Ensure merchandising and visual standards are organized, clean and presentable
  • Control stock levels including inventories, and orders stock
  • Prepare purchase orders, receives deliveries, and issues stocks
  • Track stock levels and manage stock loss and back bar costs
  • Manage salon finances including banking or invoice payments - maintaining accurate financial records
  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working order
  • Arrange regular repairs and servicing of the equipment as required
  • Ensure consistent execution of salon’s policies and procedures
  • Ensure salon’s ambiance and cleanliness
  • Maintaining a client base
  • Making cash flow calculations (end of day report) and cash transactions
  • Filling in and analyzing different types of reports
  • Promptly resolving issues on the different salon activities, fixing breakdowns, calling repair services, and ordering the necessary equipment
  • Ensure that salon software is properly utilized by the team to drive efficiencies
  • Liaise with salon owner or head office
  • Monitor the hygiene and cleanliness of the salon
  • Ensure safety standards and legal regulations are met
