Welcoming clients to the nail salon
Consulting clients and suggesting best services that will meet their needs
Cleaning and shaping client’s fingers and toenails
Providing high-quality manicures and pedicures
Removing old polish and preparing nails for services
Performing hand and foot massages
Trimming nails and pushing back cuticles
Applying nail polish and airbrush designs
Recommending products and treatments to clients
Nail art and rhinestones to client’s nails
Work with acrylic nails
Sanitizing equipment and tools before each client
Applying various types of artificial nails
Listening to client’s requests and making suggestions for additional salon services
Evaluating client’s finger and toenails and advising them on care tips and useful services/ products
Upselling clients on other salon services and treatments
Maintaining a clean workstation
Complying with all health and safety standards
Assisting with product orders when needed
Developing strong relationships with clients to keep them coming back
Promotes rebooking appointments amongst clients
Answering phones and assisting clients with bookings
Making detailed notes about services received
Updating the salon’s social media pages with Nail Care news
Assisting with the sale of promotional items and gift certificates
Helping to maintain general cleanliness around the salon
Maintaining an inventory of nail bar products
Occasionally updating the nail salon website with posts and photos
Contributing to the nail care section of the salon newsletter
